Diversified Gateway Berhad Becomes NTT Communications' First Partner in Malaysia for Managed Services
TOKYO & KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 26, 2018
NTT Communications (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT Group (TOKYO:9432), announced today that Diversified Gateway Berhad (DGB) has become the first partner in Malaysia to provide NTT Com’s Global Management One (GMOne) managed services. This partnership is a part of NTT Com’s expansion strategy for its managed services in the region, following Singapore and Hong Kong. Both companies will leverage complementary strengths to provide managed services based on automation to medium and large size enterprise customers in Malaysia.
GMOne services are designed to meet the requirements of enterprise customers who need to manage an increasingly complex and hybrid ICT environment. Leveraging NTT Com’s global resources, GMOne is a one-stop global solution that helps companies manage their entire hybrid ICT ecosystem, from infrastructure through business applications to business services. Thanks to proactive 24x7x365 remote monitoring and management (RMM) of the entire infrastructure, GMOne helps customers maximize the benefits from their Hybrid ICT without compromising on security and reliability.
NTT Com, together with DGB, understands the specific needs of domestic customers as well as those with an international presence, and provides Malaysia-based enterprise-grade managed services to the Malaysian market.
“Malaysia is a rapidly developing market and one of the key Southeast Asian markets for us,” said Hirofumi Miyama, Senior Vice President of Managed Services at NTT Com. “Teaming up with a partner such as DGB, who understands local needs and can build solutions that include our managed services, is something that we were looking for,” continues Mr. Miyama.
Under this partnership, both companies will craft solutions consisting of NTT Com’s GMOne managed services and DGB’s enterprise network and infrastructure services. As a part of the GMOne Partner Program, DGB will also receive specialized certification training on GMOne managed services which is an essential element of the GMOne Academy. GMOne Academy is a dedicated educational program for Partners under which sales and pre-sales teams can receive essential knowledge about GMOne services, sales processes and market insights.
DGB will provide consulting services around network design, deployment and optimization. NTT Com will provide fully managed end-to-end, operations services and also ensure effective management of multi-vendor environments, leading to optimizing operational expenditure and maximizing efficiencies of scale. The full suite of managed services will be delivered through the Global Delivery Centers located in 7 countries across the world and DGB’s field operations in Malaysia.
Diversified Gateway Solutions Berhad’s Executive Director Dato' Dr Tan Seng Chuan said “We are very proud to partner with NTT Com and be the first in Malaysia to offer their GMOne managed services to midsize and large enterprise customers. We see the market potential and our customers are looking for such comprehensive managed services.”
