RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for packaging and distributing news
in a way that allows consumers to aggregate news and other content from
multiple sources on the web for quick and convenient viewing.
Data elements in RSS feeds are “tagged” with descriptors that describe their
contents, so for example a computer can easily determine the start and finish
of a headline, the story text, and the date of the release.
Using the RSS standards, web developers can easily create and publish feeds of
data in any language, including news headlines, sports results, and company
media releases. Google, CNN, and CNET News are among the many sites that now
deliver updated online content via RSS.
Web users can use stand-alone RSS viewers or the RSS tools built in to browsers
such as Opera, and email clients such as Mozilla ThunderBird to quickly scan a
wide range of personally-selected content from their favorite sources.
Examples of popular stand-alone viewers, also known as News Aggregators,
include SharpReader, FeedDemon, NewsGator, AmphetaDesk, and Radio UserLand.
Most can be freely downloaded.
Thai Business News is one of the first sources to offer feeds of updating news
content in Thai language. We provide two different RSS formats, UTF-8 and
Windows-874.
Anyone can use these feeds provided that they adhere to the terms and
conditions defined in our Terms of Use.
